Hi friends, I've got a lot of help before, now it's time to give it back.;-) I found a (temporary) solution for the issue.!! I copied some files of the mbox-driver (with has been updated for sierra) into the 1.9.5.

Driver of my fast tracks pro files, tryied some combinations. And magic!!!! It works, it works for recording, track values etc etc. I attach my patched files with this instruction: 1. Install the included mbox-driver 2. Install the included fasttracks pro-driver 3. Exchange like written on the folder 4.

Delete like written on the folder Good luck!! - Minicus here the files. Hi friends, I've got a lot of help before, now it's time to give it back.;-) I found a (temporary) solution for the issue.!! I copied some files of the mbox-driver (with has been updated for sierra) into the 1.9.5.

- Minicus here the files: http://www54.zippyshare.com/v/2IODoMMM/file.html. A little update, for clarity in the instructions. The path for the folders in minicus's zip file should be: /Library/Extensions /System/Library/Extensions You can get to these directly via Terminal.app, or with Shift+CMD+G and entering the path.

Let me know if you want the full commands to copy from the command line, but a simplified command is as follows: cp -R You would remove the symbols. I'm still trying to figure out how he got this to work, but his instructions seem sound from a technical perspective. Hi sangandongo the only thing I did; I messed around in exchanging the files inside the extensions-file, means took some file of the mbox and put it in the ftpro-file, also the code sign (wich I think is the mean reason of all the mess). I can not tell you wich combination at last worked but its the files I uploaded you. The ftpro-prefpanel thinks it's his own extension but i.e. He works with the one of the mbox-driver. But be aware I'm working on SIERRA not on HighSierra!!

Maybe again some difference.? Here it works without problems for me (I'm using it mostly with logic). I'm on High Sierra 10.13.3, if you disable SIP from recovery ( run 'csrutil disable' from terminal in recovery) you can install the drivers from the DMG linked here, the audio card will show up in the system however it doesn't seem to be working, I couldn't get any input or output. There is no way to codesign the modified drivers on high sierra, it just won't and it won't load the kexts. I am installing a sierra virtual machine on my mac to see if the card is usable. I will report back. The card appears in the virtual machine but I can't get any input either.

I am starting to think this unit is defective. I was able to make it work under a Yosemite virtual machine but there is lag. I installed Yosemite fresh to an USB drive, there it works. Hi, i had the same problem.

Updated to mac os 10.13.3 and the m-audio fast track pro doesn't work. I tried to contact the avid but they are mercenaries, you have to pay to get information. I'll never buy or get any products of this company anymore. I suggest you to contact apple at chat support and communicate this problem, the person with i spoke on chat said that i was the only one that mentioned this problem.

So, if we make a complain at apple chat support i believe they make some changes at the next update. I don't trust in avid or m-audio anymore. Hi, i had the same problem.

I don't trust in avid or m-audio anymore. I bought the M-Audio Fast Track 8x8 USB 2.0 several years ago and when I updated my Mac, there were no drivers to make it work. I CALLED and called and called, and got the run around. M-Audio, Avid, inMusic, are THIEVES! I would think with the hundreds if not thousands of innocent people who bought this piece of shit, that a young aggressive lawyer would be all over this! I'd even contribute a bit of money to sue the bastards! I am more than pissed.

There are all these people on this site who say, try this, try that, and I think it's all a scam. WE, should not be trying to figure this problem out, I want a solution from them: M-Audio, Avid, iMusic and APPLE!

WE, should not have to update ANYTHING! I don't trust Beta. It is a way of them experimenting with your computer. They, the thieves who sold us out because of greed or what ever failure of M-Audio, owe US a fix in collaboration with Apple, Avid, iMusic or, return our money. Apogee has a product MADE in USA, that plugs a MiC 96khz USB cardioid into your computer. There is a JAM Pac also that allows you to plug a: 1/4', 1/8' and MIDI, USB cord for any instrument.

And, it is a Certified Green Business! You DON'T need an interface that YOU have to find a cure for.

It signals that you can and will be duped. Frankly, I would rather have my money back.

If any of want to buy my nearly new M-Audio 8x8 FasT Track unit, I will make you a deal. WE, should not have to update ANYTHING! I don't trust Beta. It is a way of them experimenting with your computer.

Whats the point? I mean, none of us will never buy or use again products from companies not carring about their products and customers (right? Ever) i see that this problem starts MONTHES ago, i cant even believe it i have a m-audio fast track ultra and run on imac 27 I moved to this famous beta and it changes absolutely nothing. Absolutely n o t h i n g. And, i dont know for you guys but if i choose my audio device as outputs an inputs i cant read no more any videos on internet. Yeah just on internet. I still cannot believe this.

On about my mac it says 10.13.4 Beta (17E197a), make sure you're at least on 10.13.4 since I initially opted in to the beta but was stuck on 10.13.3 and did not see the update for 12 more hours (even though I tried opting in again and again).

If you're not on 10.13.4 at least then it probably wont work for you. If the update does not appear for you in the App Store after you've opted in, try going to their website and logout/login again for the beta testing and also go to system preferences-app store- Check now under updates to manually check for an update. If it still does not appear have patience and wait for it to appear. I had to wait about 12 hours after opting in. Once you update to 10.13.4 try and see if your fast-track works.

If it doesn't work, you can run the following commands in terminal: 2. Search relevant strings surrounded by ‘.’ wildcards in terminal: sudo find.iname '.m-audio.' -print sudo find.iname '.maudio.'

-print sudo find.iname “.mobile.pre' -print Note that the -iname flag is case insensitive. For each relevant result, you may rm (delete) individually, eg: sudo rm './Users/Shared/Library/Preferences/com.maudio.usb.mobilepre.driver.plist Please note that some of the results may be false positives and should not be deleted! Once these are deleted restart your computer and try to see if you have sound and you can detect the soundcard. If you still don't have sound, download the 1.9.5 m-audio drivers from the official website and install them then restart. Try and see if you can detect the sound card now. If you still do not have sound, you can download the previously provided drivers about a month ago from this post by minicus and replace your existing drivers with them, simply find your existing drivers in the directories he has listed (once you download his file) and replace them with the replacement files he has provided then restart your computer and try if you have sound.

For me, what did it was the beta, however a wasted several hours since it didn't opt-me in on the newest version immediately. I was able to finally get my Fast-Track-Pro to work. But now i can't hear anything from all input. And i just realized that Fast Track Ultra control panel shown that it has to connect to wall power for full functionality (i lost the power adapter).

Is this the cause I can not hear anything from all input? Does this mean that now i can't only use usb cable as power? Sorry for my terrible english.
